Media Center

Welcome to the Charles F. Brush High School Media Center. Serving over 1,000 students in grades 9-12, the library is a dynamic 21st-century learning commons designed for discovery, creation, and collaboration. With more than 8,000 materials, including books, periodicals, online databases, CDs, DVDs, and an extensive eBook collection through Sora, the library is a hub for students and staff to engage with information and ideas.

Our goal is to enhance the educational experience by providing diverse resources that support the curriculum and foster a love of reading and lifelong learning. Additionally, we’ve partnered with the Cuyahoga County Public Library to provide students with access to public library digital books via Sora, regardless of whether they hold a public library card.

Students can visit the Media Center for Chromebook repairs or loaners, as we serve as the distribution point for the school’s 1:1 Chromebook initiative.

An Innovative Space for Learning

The  Media Center features three glass study rooms with wireless flat-screen monitors, ideal for group study, presentations, or meetings. A large video display on the back wall is available for class presentations or programs, and the space is fully accessible, with a ramp for ADA access.

Our Makerspace is a creative hub equipped with a green screen video film studio, sound recording studio, Cameo Silhouette vinyl cutter, Sprout computer, and embroidery machine. The library also oversees the Innovation Lab, expanding our technology resources.
