JROTC
Leadership Development for Every Future
Brush High School's Army Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) program is not a military recruitment program—it's a leadership laboratory where students from all backgrounds and career interests develop the skills that employers, colleges, and communities value most. Whether you're planning to pursue medicine, business, education, technology, or any other field, JROTC builds the foundation for success.
What Makes Brush JROTC Different?
Leadership Skills for Every Career Path
The leadership competencies developed in JROTC transfer to all industries and professions. Explore how these skills connect to careers you're interested by using the Explore Career Pathways & Skills tools from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
What to Expect
- Physical Activity: Yes, there's physical training, but it's developmentally appropriate and focused on wellness, not boot camp. Students of all fitness levels participate and improve at their own pace.
- Uniform Days: Cadets wear uniforms one day per week—building pride, discipline, and professional appearance skills.
- No Military Obligation: Participation does not obligate students to military service.
Is This the Right Program?

- Want to develop confidence and leadership skills
- Are interested in scholarships and college opportunities
