Registered Pre-Apprenticeship

Brush High School offers Registered Pre-Apprenticeship pathways in four high-demand, high-wage industries: Healthcare, Hospitality, Information Technology (IT), and Financial Services. These aren't just internships or job shadowing—they're officially registered programs through ApprenticeOhio that combine classroom learning with real work experience, preparing students for direct pathways into paid careers, advanced training, or college programs aligned with your interests.

  • Insurance fundamentals
  • Financial literacy and client services

Choosing a Pathway

When choosing a pathway, students should consider:

  • What subjects or activities they enjoy most in school?
  • Do they like working with people, technology, data, or hands-on tasks?
  • What kind of work environment appeals to them? (Hospital, office, restaurant, tech company?)
  • What are their income goals and lifestyle priorities?

Use the BLS Career Exploration tool to research specific careers within each pathway.
